Project Description
The program aims to strengthen the international research ethics training capacity in Kenya while also addressing the specific needs related to One Health research and emergency health research. As a collaboration between the University of Nairobi (UoN) and The Ohio State University (OSU), it will offer in-depth training and experiences in research ethics and integrity through establishing and running both a 1-year postgraduate diploma (PGD) and a 2-year MSc in One Health and Emergency Research Ethics (MOHERE) at UoN. It will also fund and mentor 6 future leaders in bioethics and research ethics to take the OSU MA in Bioethics so that together all these graduates will become leaders in a sustainable, rigorous and exciting culture of research ethics in Kenya.
