Project Description
Despite significant science, technology, and innovation system growth in Peru, the country’s approach to research ethics has not kept pace, resulting in few scholars in research ethics, scant options for graduate degrees or specialty tracks in research ethics, and scant original ethics research. The goal is to increase the quality of research ethics and boost responsibly conducted health research in Peru. This project will provide a master’s degree program and options for advanced education in research ethics and integrity for multidisciplinary professions through practicum experiences, research opportunities, and professional mentoring.
