Project Description

Pregnant adolescents in Sub-Saharan-African (SSA) are burdened by significant unmet health needs including lack of access to mental health services due to rapidly changing climate and environmental factors. This supplement seeks to build on the ongoing INSPIRE- K43 work by generating formative data on two distinct ecosystems- an urban informal settlement context and a rural Coastal community to understand environmental and social determinants of perinatal mental health.
