Project Description
Expansion of research activities at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH) in Kano, Nigeria presents a unique opportunity to strengthen research administration and management capacity in HIV research. This program harnesses the longstanding and highly successful research partnership between AKTH and the Vanderbilt Institute for Global Health to establish a research administration management platform that will create a cohort of highly skilled Nigerian research administrators that is knowledgeable and compliant with the fiscal, management, and ethical standards of sponsored HIV research.
