Fogarty awards $3.8M in exploratory grants for chronic disease and injury research
November 3, 2016
Fogarty plans to award $3.8 million over two years in exploratory grants through the first round of funding for the Global Noncommunicable Diseases and Injury Across the Lifespan research program.
The awards will support planning, design and initial pilots for locally relevant and catalytic research on noncommunicable diseases and injury in low- and middle-income countries, helping the institutions to prepare a foundation for more comprehensive research programs.
