Between January and November 2023, Fogarty's Division of International Epidemiology and Population Studies (DEIPS) published 25 studies in peer-reviewed journals, making a significant contribution to scientific research on a range of topics related to both domestic and global health.

“Global Brain” enters third decade

Neurological disorders are the leading cause of disability and the second leading cause of death worldwide. Fogarty's Global Brain program, now in its 20th year, funds projects that aim to improve brain health outcomes in low- and middle-income countries.
