Project Description
The program focuses on long-term training in laboratory sciences and public health, includes both degree and non- degree programs, and provides individual and institutional capacity building in Bangladesh. The program builds upon ongoing and active scientific collaborations between the icddr,b and MGH, including on Vibrio cholerae, typhoid fever, and enteric infections, as well as adding training in respiratory infections and emerging pathogens, with a goal of continuing to build local capacity in biomedical investigation of host-pathogen interactions and vaccine development in Bangladesh.
