Project Description

Currently there are highly effective treatments and prevention for HIV infection, but they are not being optimally utilized in low- and middle-income settings. Sociobehavioral determinants and mental illness represent significant obstacles to their full implementation. This program will continue to build research expertise to address and overcome these obstacles in Tanzanian context.
