Project Description
This program will train researchers at the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) to conduct locally relevant research that will improve the lives of adolescent girls and women affected by HIV in Kenya and other parts of sub-Saharan Africa. Research will be focused on finding ways to implement interventions that have been proven to work and can directly lead to changes in guidelines, clinical practices and policies. Building capacity at KEMRI and MOH to conduct implementation research will have a long-term benefit for girls and women at highest risk for HIV acquisition.
