Project Description
Maternal morbidity and mortality in sub-Saharan Africa are driven by causes that are largely preventable with early recognition and timely interventions. Easy-to-use, wearable, continuous physiological monitoring devices could increase access to care and improve outcomes for postpartum women in low-resource settings. This series of related studies will evaluate the feasibility and implementation of postpartum physiologic monitoring to prevent severe maternal morbidity and mortality.
