Project Description

This project seeks to determine the effectiveness of a model Trauma Intake Form to function as a checklist for improving the initial assessment and care of the injured at first and second level hospitals in Ghana. The project will also increase the capacity of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and the network of hospitals in southern Ghana to undertake high-quality trauma care research, including clinical trials.
