Project Description
This continuation of the Interdisciplinary Cerebrovascular Training Program in South America (ICTuS) will train Peruvian neurologists and physiatrists how to design and conduct clinical and implementation science research to better understand the causes of stroke in Peru; provide practical training in management and research in acute stroke; stroke prevention and rehabilitative methods; and improve the quality of care provided to stroke patients to reduce neurologic disability following stroke and improve resources available for preventing stroke.
