Join NIH Returned Peace Corps Volunteers for a hybrid Book Signing Event with former Peace Corps Director, Jody Olsen, PhD. In her recent memoir, A Million Miles, she provides a deeply personal glimpse into her life and career. From her start as a Peace Corps volunteer in Tunisia in 1966, to her tenure as Peace Corps Director, Olsen has spent six decades shaping and supporting global public health and international service programs. • The Duke University's Center for Spirituality, Theology and Health is offering $3,700 scholarships for graduate students from underdeveloped countries to attend a 5-day workshop on conducting research in religion, spirituality, and health. The workshop will be held August 11–15, 2025, and scholarships will cover tuition, airfare, hotel accommodations, and meals. Apply as soon as possible to allow time for visa processing.
